Ian Dover |
|
|
Ian is the founding director of Alitek,
a company established in 1990 to provide strategic planning
and business improvement services to Australian organisations.
Prior to Alitek, Ian was involved in turning around
poorly performing companies and held positions as General
Manager, R&D Manager and Sales Manager for companies
in Australia, North America and Scandinavia.
He holds Masters and Doctoral degrees
obtained in multi-disciplinary environments involving
engineering, systems and management. He holds licences
from the Australian Government to deliver strategic
and operations improvement programs to Australian business,
including the value chain improvement programs that
were introduced in 1997 to industry sectors including
healthcare. Ian has held positions on industry-government
advisory committees covering industry development, export
and technology and recently completed a 3-year term
as an invited member to the QUT Council.
He is currently a Queensland Trustee
of CEDA, a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors
and a Member of the Institute of Management Consultants
in Australia.

Lyn Hamill |
|
|
Lyns career has spanned pharmacy,
systems and technology, and association administration.
After working for a number of years
as a pharmacist in both the hospital and retail sectors,
she moved to the sale and implementation of information
technology systems in the health care industry. From
1991 to 1997 Lyn held the position of Executive Director
of the Private Hospitals Association of Queensland where
she was acknowledged as one of the most effective state
executive directors in Australia. She played a senior
role in a start up health e-commerce company. In addition
to her degree in pharmacy, Lyn completed the Queensland
Enterprise Workshop and the Executive MBA program at
Bond.
Her consulting experience covers
new business development, business improvement, project
management, mentoring and general advice to management.

Daryl Grant |
|
|
Daryls training and experience
over the last 16 years have been in universities and
private enterprise. She completed a B.Sc. and M.Sc.
at Auckland University and continued on to a PhD in
Biochemistry at the Australian National University.
Prior to commencing work with Alitek,
Daryl spent two years with Queenslands largest
independent financial advisory group, where she was
responsible for sales training and management of regional
offices.
At Alitek, Daryl specialises in training,
and assisting companies to implement improvement strategies
through self-managed teams. She recently completed and
was the Australian Dux of the Certificate in Financial
Markets through the Securities Institute.

Andrew Grant |
|
|
Andrew assists organisations in risk
and threat analysis, future planning and organisational
development, market research and corporate training.
He also specialises in consulting to Indigenous business
enterprises and Indigenous health organisations. His
clients include Cunnamulla Aboriginal Corporation for
Health, Bidgerdii Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander
Health Service, Gallang Place, Theadore Aboriginal &
Torres Strait Islander Corporation, Victorian Aboriginal
Legal Service, Ipswich Aboriginal Legal Service, the
Mater Hospital in Brisbane, James Cook University and
Brisbane City Council.
He has a Diploma in Financial Planning
and a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Justice Studies
and Security and Intelligence. He is also a qualified
mediator with the Department of Justice and has studied
Fraud and Forgery Investigation at the Administration
of Justice Bureau in California.
Andrew is an associate member of
the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a member
of the Australian Institute of Management.

Steve Muir |
|
|
Steve has a background in mainstream corporate management,
sales, and international marketing, with a specific
focus on Product and Business Development. In roles
as Chairman and Managing Director of a manufacturing
business supplying built environment solutions to remote
and international project markets, he has developed
a solid understanding and appreciation of value and
supply chain practicalities, and is very focused on
Logistics Issue Impact.
As a young man he served in the Australian Army completing
a formal trade Apprenticeship, followed by four years
in the Royal Aust Engineer Corps. He has developed several
successful building and construction systems and products
for military and commercial applications, and understands
the value chain concept from the shop floor through
to the boardroom. He assists in stratagem development
for organisations with an export focus on technology
and industrial infrastructure.

Nick Parfitt |
|
|
Nick, the principal of Researchworks,
provides high-quality information for business and social
decision-making. He gained research and marketing experience
in the UK, Europe and North America.
Researchworks operates throughout
Australia and adjacent countries and specialises in
opportunity analysis, corporate image research, site
location, design and feasibility studies.
Clients have included the Sheraton
Group, Brisbane City Council, The Wesley Hospital, QTTC,
Century Yuasa, MMI Insurance.

Carolyn Morgan |
|
|
Carolyn is an award-winning graphic designer who has
helped many Queensland businesses create unique corporate
logos, identities, and website designs which have become
important brand building assets for those involved.
She particularly enjoys working with adventurous organisations
that want creative left-field design ideas
which complement their business services and products.

She is Past President and Past Vice-President of the
Australian Graphic Design Association (Queensland Branch)
and is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors.
During her time as Vice-President of AGDA QLD, Carolyn
