Alitek has worked with over 70 Aboriginal
and Torres Strait Islander organisations in Queensland, New
South Wales and Victoria since 1993.
Our planning, coaching and training have
all been tailored to suit Indigenous groups. We have made
them culturally appropriate by taking time to build relationships
and consult with people, running workshops as relaxed discussions
rather than chalk and talk, and preparing documents
that are brief and written in plain English.
Most of our Indigenous clients have invited
us back to do more than one consulting job for them, so they
must like our approach.
Two of our consultants (Andrew
Grant and Krishna
Heffernan) are Aboriginal. Their family links are from
Wiradjuri in Central Western NSW and Yorta Yorta in Victoria.
Alitek does the following work for Indigenous
organisations:
- Strategic, organisational, community
and project planning

manuals
